Job Role Motivate and encourage participants while maintaining their safety. You'll be out along the Bike course. this role requires lone working. Providing direction to runners and the public while being vigilant . You will be transported to your position as it will be off the main event site. A high level of customer service is required, as well as a flexible, can-do attitude. Clean up at the end of your shift, including litter picking. Dress Code Plain black, sporty-casual clothing. Minimal branding and comfortable footwear. Black /trousers/shorts/leggings (no tracksuits), along with black shoes/trainers. Plain black t-shirt, dark jumper or hoody. Waterproof coat.
Event Description Set at the premier Rutland Water venue, the Dambuster Triathlon offers Standard and Sprint distance races for all abilities. The 2025 event introduces a closed-road bike course, aquabike, and junior races, continuing its 20-year legacy as a beloved UK triathlon. To ensure a well-organized and safe race day, Flair Events will be providing supportive Event Marshals to guide participants throughout the course. Job Role Provide enthusiastic support and motivation to participants, while maintaining their safety and offering clear directional assistance to runners and the public. Deliver exceptional customer service, adopting a flexible and 'can-do' attitude. End-of-shift responsibilities include thorough cleaning and litter removal. Event Description Multi-sport races for athletes. Participants can choose from a Sprint Triathlon, SuperSprint Triathlon (ideal for beginners), Sprint Triathlon Relay, or an Aquathlon for both adults and juniors. The race starts with a "snake-style" pool swim in a 6-lane competition pool, followed by a fast and flat bike course on open roads with a few inclines.
